Stanford vs Wisconsin WVB 12-21-19 National Finals

Dear Readers~

On December 21, 2019 the national finals of the 2019 NCAA women's indoor volleyball season happened in Pittsburg, Pennsylvania with Wisconsin taking on the defending national champions, Stanford. Now it's time to cover that game and see if Stanford can win back to back or if Wisconsin can beat Stanford and the national championship.

The first set ended with Stanford winning 25-16 in the first set. The second set ended at 25-17 with Stanford taking that set as well and being up 2 sets to Wisconsin's none going into the third. The third set ended at 25-20 with Stanford taking that set and sweeping Wisconsin for back to back national championships.

The leader in kills goes to Stanford's Kathryn Plummer, with 22, while Molly Haggerty led Wisconsin with 10 kills of her own. The leader in digs goes to Stanford's Morgan Hentz, with 17, while Sydney Hilley led Wisconsin with 11 digs of her own. The leader in blocks was Stanford's Holly Campbell, with 5, while Danielle Hart led Wisconsin with 2 blocks of her own. The leader in assists was Stanford's Jenna Gray, with 39, while Sydney Hilley led Wisconsin with 25 assists of her own.
