On December 19, 2019 the first semifinal of the 2019 championship tournament was held between Baylor and Wisconsin in Pittsburg, Pennsylvania. Now it's time to cover the game.
The first set ended at 27-25 with Baylor taking that set. The second set ended at 25-21 with Wisconsin taking that set. The third set ended at 25-17 with Wisconsin taking that set and leading 2 sets to Baylor's 1 set. The fourth set ended at 25-19 with Wisconsin taking that seta and knocking Baylor out of the tournament as well as moving Wisconsin to the semifinals.
The leader in kills was Baylor's Yosianna Pressley, with 25 kills, while Dana Rettke had 19 kills of her own for Wisconsin. The leader in digs was Wisconsin's Tiffany Clark, with 18 digs, while Yosianna Pressley led Baylor with 16 digs of her own. The leader in blocks goes to Wisconsin's Dana Rettke, with 8, while Kara McGhee led Baylor with 7 blocks of her own. The leader in assists goes to Baylor's Hannah Lockin, with 44 assists, while Sydney Hilley had 43 assists of her own for Wisconsin.
